Keep your tattoo wrapped in the clingfilm or tattoo pad overnight, not taking it off until the morning.

-
Carefully take off the cling film and wash your hands.

-
Gently wash your tattoo making sure that it is thoroughly clean, with no dried ink or blood remaining. Use warm soapy water (something like Carex which is fragrance free).

-
Allow the tattoo to air dry for around 20 minutes. Wash the tattoo twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

-
For an extra 2 nights, wrap the tattoo in cling film whilst you sleep to avoid any clothing getting stuck or ruining your bedsheets. You do not need to apply moisturiser before doing this. In the morning, throw away the cling film and proceed with the aftercare routine.

-
After each time you wash the tattoo, allow the tattoo to air dry and wear loose clothing to allow room for any swelling and so that your skin can breathe.

-
You can moisturise the tattoo from day 4 onwards, once the tattoo has dried out and appears tight and ready to flake. It is very important to only use a tiny bit of moisturiser. A small pea sized amount dabbed across the tattoo using your freshly washed palm should do the trick. I recommend to use any of the following moisturisers : Aveeno daily moisuriser / Bepthanthen / Hustle butter / Cocoa butter. Always remember that less is more.

-
Your tattoo should flake off within 7-14 days.

-
Do not bathe or swim/ soak up the sun or use sun beds during the healing period.

-
Do not pick any scabs- they will come off naturally when they are ready. Picking at it prematurely may cause the ink to come out with it.

-
Once healed, if any touch ups are needed do not worry- once fully healed I can touch up any bits that may need it.
